We all lead interesting lives, and we all have stories to tell.  Academy of the Recent Past is dedicated to telling those stories from our lively pasts.  Believe it or not, if you’ve spent any time at all on this planet, you have a story to tell.  And here is a great place for you to tell all of them.  Feel free to jump in and participate.  Your comments, stories, and anecdotes are more than welcome.  They are both encouraged and needed.  I’ll be sure to start off the discussions with stories from my past, both good and bad, both embarrassing and prideful.  I encourage you all to do the same.  It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve told those stories to children, parents, partners, friends and assorted family members.  Now, you have an entire new audience to talk to.  A group of people, who haven’t heard your stories ever.  They won’t roll your eyes as you begin into the tale, and their sure to be pleasantly amused by the stories you have to tell.  Come on in, don’t be shy, and lay it all out there for everyone to heard.  It’s your best chance to have your memories preserved for ever and ever.
